Clay Myers-Bowman
"This is at LEAST my second Rodeo."
Clay’s photography journey has been a nearly lifelong adventure that’s taken him from the darkroom days of traditional film to the digital playgrounds of Photoshop and Final Cut Pro. Following in his grandfather’s footsteps, he’s captured everything from behind-the-scenes moments on feature film sets and heartfelt nonprofit stories, to documentary projects and fine art images that invite viewers to pause and look a little closer.
He’s captured images from the Central and Southern California coasts, American Midwest to Europe and the Arctic Circle. These travels shape his sense of scale and space, and they inform the way he photographs the shoreline, the mountains, the sky, and the edges where they meet.
These days, Clay’s “Subtractive” approach is all about stripping away distractions—letting light, shadow, and honest moments do the talking. Clay brings a warm, curious eye and a knack for connecting with people, always keeping the process as unassuming and thoughtful as the images themselves.
