Monterey Peninsula Art Forum
Elizabeth Panetta
I am an artist who works primarily with ink and watercolor, moving between representational landscape and abstraction. I build with loose ink line and layered washes of color-- letting structure and spontaneity meet as colors pool and bleed against a drawn scaffolding.
I am also a photographer, and I create one-of-a-kind image transfers based on images from around the Monterey Peninsula, drawing on the coastlines, historic architecture, and working harbors of the town I am so lucky to live in.
