Irene has been a part time resident of Pacific Grove for 32 years, spending part of the year on St. John, Virgin Islands. She and her husband and sister had such a unique experience enjoying their own goldsmithing shop for over 50 years on St. John. Recently, Irene has moved full time to PG where she can continue her watercolor art with Diane Grindol and Robert McIntyre. She is also an alum of MPC's Metal Arts program where she studied with Carol Holaday in enameling on metal, Susan Kingsly and many special designers in studio jewelry making. She is a member of Monterey Bay Metal Arts and CCAA, MPAF and the Carmel Orchid Society.
She has won ribbons at the Monterey County Fair in watercolor and in the Carmel Valley Garden Show for orchids.
Her complete jewelry shop is on Etsy. Irene participates in the fall Monterey Open Studios yearly where she sells fine jewelry she has designed and made.
