Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation
Judy Willis
My passion for art is expressed through my water color paintings of the local area.
Since studying with marine artist Bennett Bradbury in 1988, my passion for seascapes and landscapes still capture my imagination. Over the years, I have explored various mediums: acrylic, oil, pastel, and ink. I have participated in national art competitions and placed in local art shows. I was one of the initial artists at the first Monterey Bay Artisans Gallery in the American Tin Cannery, Pacific Grove CA. Most recently I coordinated the 2024 art exhibit at the Monterey Airport mezzanine and show at Woody’s Restaurant. I also exhibit in local businesses and at fund raising events. I strive to provide the viewer a sense of escape and serenity through the use of soft colors and local impressions.
My work may be viewed in Reflections Elegante Gallery, Portola Plaza, Monterey CA reflectionselegantegallery.com
