Creative Superbloom
Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation presents its 2023 All-Member Exhibition at Walter Lee Avery Gallery in Seaside City Hall from May 1 - June 29. Artists will present a "creative superbloom" of works in many mediums from oil paintings to watercolors to pastels to photographs, and sculpture. Seaside City Hall is itself a work of art and historical landmark designed by famed architect Edward Durrell Stone who also designed the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. The general public is welcome, free of charge, M-F, 8am-5pm and at the opening reception Friday, May 12 from 7-8:30pm. MPAF’s guiding philosophy is that artists must show their work un-judged, bringing artists together for fellowship, and furthering art education for its members and the public. Membership is open to all artists and art lovers. www.mpaf.org
