Annemarie Cassidy

A long time artist in the field of entertainment, Annemarie has been expressing herself the last 30 years as a professional makeup artist/stylist, creating and building characters for various actors and entertainers in the mediums of television, photography, video, film and stage, all the while painting when time allowed. Being a makeup artist, it seemed a natural progression to move from painting live subjects to painting on canvas.

Inspired by the works of impressionist John Singer Sargent and abstract artist Lisa Ferguson, Annemarie has transitioned into her style of painting, excited about exploring styles and mediums.

Artist training through the Academy of Realist Art, The Psychology of Painting by Bob Muson, the Painting Experience by Stewart Cubley and Art Coaching with Shirley Polovy.
