I paint, make prints and work in clay because it is sensual and marvelous.  We, as humans have natural and vast capabilities in the arts.  The potential is there for any who wants to open the tap.  I was privileged to teach art at a local high school for 21 years, providing people with access to materials and opportunities to create really beautiful artworks.  It’s all marvelous to me; nature, color, substance and story, giving me reasons to design and love living.

When I begin an art piece, I endeavor to relax into the natural abilities in all humankind and allow the cosmos to flow through my fingers.  I am surprised and delighted by what I am able to make.  And, I am thrilled each time another person is so inspired by one of my expressions that they want to have it to enjoy.
