"For the past 30 years, ceramics has been a passionate endeavor. I was fortunate to live in Sacramento, California which has a vibrant ceramic community. This enabled me to take several private and college level classes, mostly notably, I participated in weekly workshops under the guidance of Tony Natsoulas, a renown Sacramento ceramacist.
I initially created ceramic art for competition, fairs and juried shows. I have transitioned to creating pieces that highlight mankind's impact on the world. Climate change, over population, urbanization are all areas that I have explored. Achievements include two Awards of Merit from the California State Fair, numerous ribbons from county fairs and a ceramic map on display at the Hyatt House, Midtown Sacramento."
