Born in Rushford, Minnesota, I began painting in the late 1980"s. I painted very occasionally while raising three daughters and later working full time.
When my husband, Curt and I moved to the Central Coast in 2001, I decided to devote more time to my art. I paint with oils and enjoy it very much. Oils are great to work with, especially good for blending and getting just the right color and atmosphere. I paint mostly local scenes and especially seascapes.
Local artists I have worked with include Dick Crispo, Gil Dellinger, Gerard Martin, Jan Valtr and Jean Fosnot. My paintings are currently on display at the "Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation Gallery" located at 425 Cannery Row, Monterey, California
